Equipment and Facilities

Even though our permanent space is under renovation, we are up and running in our temporary home. Most of our major equipment has arrived.

LC Technology Solutions glove box. Two glove boxes, each with their own atmospheric purification system, are joined by a large shared antechamber. Solvent use is allowed in the larger box, which is filled with nitrogen equipped with a solvent removal system. Inside is a UV-ozone cleaner and a spin coater. The smaller box is filled with argon, and no solvent use is allowed in there. Located in a temporary space.

  Two Thermo-Fisher small box furnaces, maximum temperature 1100 °C.

Programmable spin coater for thin film deposition on a variety of substrates. This is the cleanest it will ever be.

Centrifuge with rotor for that holds 6 x 50 mL tubes, max speed 4000 rpm.

Large Thermo-Fisher box furnace, maximum temperature 1200 °C.

Thermo-Fisher Mini-Mite 1″ diameter tube furnace, maximum temperature 1100 °C. We are still waiting for the process tube to arrive.
